I recently stumbled across this article. Some football player beat a man up in a Denny’s because the man was using his computer. The man didn’t like being made fun of so he complained and these guys attacked him. The part that really makes me mad is that these idiots whole do nothing but play a game for a living, and would probably be walking around with their shoes untied if they didn’t have some the money to pay someone to do it, contributed zero to society. They believe that somehow what they do really makes a big difference in the world. Personally, I do watch football but listening to football players talk about the game is like listening to a preschooler try to weigh in on quantum theory. The jist of this article is about how this moron was upset because he had to kick this guys ass for being a nerd, but he was really happy because he found out he was making 5 million a year that day. I think this society is really starting to lose focus on what’s important in this world. Some moron who can barely read or write make 5 million a year beats a man until he’s unconscious for trying to work, and somehow we’re lead to believe the football player is the victim in all this. I really hope that I’m proved wrong in my assessment and justice will prevail. I hope this “nerd” gets a fair chunk of that contract and maybe even better the NFL won’t let this guy play.
